This project highlights a popular trend in color - soft soft soft gray is the color of choice for many rooms in your home. I use gray in the bathroom like this project but also in kitchens, hallways, living rooms and even bedrooms - it is the neutral color of todays homes - especially the ever popular Hamptons or Cape Cod beachy homes. My favorites -
Benjamin Moore HC-170 Brushed Silver - this is the color of these cabinets - it is so soft and creamy -just beautiful and great with the carerra marble.
Benjamin Moore HC- 169 Coventry Gray This gray has blue/lavendar undertones - looks great in bedrooms and complements corals, pinks an celery really well. A little more feminine than some.
Benjamin Moore 1541 Sterling - More toward silver gray - this is a great basic gray for your hallways and main rooms in the house.
Benjamin Moore HC 166 Kendall Gray - for more drama and a deeper gray - Kendall is great. I love it in contrast to crisp white baseboards and window frames - I used this in the entry hall of a clients farmhouse and it is fantastic.
Farrow and Ball - Plummett - this gray has that contemporary, edgy - almost industrial feel - - really nice in a well lit space and try it in eggshell for some sheen in a modern interior.
Farrow and Ball -Elephants Breath - ( don't you love this name) - this is a more transitional gray - can lean towards lilac and even looks taupe at times. It's not a strong color statement but it has definite undertones of color.
Sherwin Williams - Versatile Gray - - love this paint for a nursery or laundry room - - it definitely has shades of purples in it so it isn't the neutral, all over Gray that the name implies.
Benjamin Moore 1480 Sleigh Bells - this is perfect for intense sun and a super beachy neutral - - - color that is just barely there but still makes your trim work pop.
Email me your favorite paint colors - I am starting to keep track to see if I can determine the trend before the Pantone color board announces!
